I am delighted to let you know that Carbon Credentials is now known as Carbon Intelligence.
Stephen Hawking defined intelligence as the ability to adapt to change. A carbon intelligent business is one which is able to put in place a clear vision for carbon reduction and successfully execute a plan to achieve it.
A carbon intelligent business needs to both understand its overall carbon footprint and take action to reduce it.
How carbon intelligent is your organisation?
As well as a new website, email addresses and fresh visual identity our new name reflects the suite of solutions we provide to enable our clients to become carbon intelligent. These sit across 6 dimensions.
2019 saw a dramatic shift of interest in the business impact on climate change from investors, employees and customers, catapulting carbon performance higher up the boardroom agenda.
We believe this trend will continue, just today one of our clients the National Trust pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030. In his new role as the UN’s Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, Mark Carney is moving the debate onto the front pages and COP26 in Glasgow in November will provide a focus particularly in the UK.
Our end to end service will help you tackle some of 2020’s most pressing sustainability issues such as setting credible net zero targets, driving change in your supply chain, handling new regulations like SECR and improving your reporting in key areas such as TCFD, CDP and GRESB.
We’d be delighted to explain what these changes mean for you and your organisation over the next few weeks. Please do get in touch with your usual contact, browse our new website or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org. We are very excited about the progress to be made in 2020 and wish you a successful new year.
