Carbon Intelligence launches ESG video series for Real Estate Fund Managers

By Grace Melville
7th June 2021

We are excited to support the launch of The Association of Real Estate Fund’s ‘5 Year ESG Roadmap, a series of six videos tackling key ESG issues and how they will impact fund managers.

Watch the videos here.

We joined the AREF ESG and Impact Investing Committee last year, along with several industry leaders with the aim to promote and raise awareness of best practice across the real estate fund management sector. Part of our work with AREF includes collaborations on educational resources and events for their members and wider industry.

Launched today the videos include experts from across Real Estate:

  • TCFD
BMO Real Estate & Carbon Intelligence
  • Impact Investing
The Impact Investing Institute & CBRE GI
  • MEES & EPCs
The Association of Decentralised Energy & British Property Foundation
  • SFDR & EU Taxonomy
Columbia Threadneedle & M&G Real Estate
  • Net Zero Carbon
Nuveen Real Estate & Carbon Intelligence
  • Scope 3 Emissions
    Aberdeen Standard & Carbon Intelligence

This series explains when you will be affected by incoming regulation or market change and how you can prepare. There will be leaders and laggards in the race to zero and those who embrace responsible investing will come out on top.

“As the transition accelerates, companies with a well-articulated long-term strategy, and a clear plan to address the transition to net zero, will distinguish themselves with their stakeholders – with customers, policymakers, employees and shareholders – by inspiring confidence that they can navigate this global transformation. But companies that are not quickly preparing themselves will see their businesses and valuations suffer, as these same stakeholders lose confidence that those companies can adapt their business models to the dramatic changes that are coming”. – Larry Fink 2021
