Aviva Investors have announced their strategy to achieve Net Zero by 2040.
Their pathway details how they will support their clients to transition their real asset Investments to net zero emissions as well as their plans to invest £2.5 billion in low-carbon and renewable energy infrastructure and buildings by 2025 and reduce real estate carbon intensity by 30% and energy intensity by 10 per cent by 2025.
We’re pleased to be supporting Aviva Investors on their Net Zero pathway and continuing to develop our Smart Buildings Programme across their portfolio. The programme has saved over £1.8 million and contributed to a 62% reduction in carbon emissions over a five-year period since 2015.
