We are excited to announce that Carbon Intelligence is now a Gold Leaf member of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC).
The UKGBC is a non-profit organisation part of a global network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs). They are seen as credible leaders in the field across the world bringing together various built environment stakeholders to deliver high impact results.
As long standing members and collaborators with the UKGBC we’re excited to take this next step in our journey and demonstrate our continued commitment to sustainability in the built environment.
Daniel Lilley, Associate Director, Energy Services at Carbon Intelligence said “we look forward to working with our account manager at UKGBC to enhance and extend our learning and development programme, develop future leaders and contribute our team’s learnings from the field to UKGBC’s thought leadership.”
We are also an official partner to the UK Built Environment Virtual Coalition at COP26
We are also an official partner to the UK Built Environment Virtual Coalition at COP26. The Virtual Pavilion is being curated by a coalition of almost 100 partner organisations across the built environment sector, to give the sector a strong voice at COP26 on the dedicated day for the Built Environment and beyond.
UKGBC convenes and works together with their members to break through some of the sector’s biggest challenges, and identify and develop innovative solutions to overcome market failures. We’ve contributed to several UKGBC whitepapers including the Advancing Net Zero Framework and have signed up to the World GBC Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment.
Our commitment to the built environment
Over the past 10 years we have helped global market leading organisations, with a key focus in commercial real estate, on their building performance strategies. Having helped our clients save over £8million and 17,000tCO2e since the start of 2019, we enable businesses to understand and optimise their buildings and to use decarbonisation as a strategic lever to drive the transition to net zero.
Part of this involves monitoring over 45,000 buildings in 60 countries using our data platform, ADAPT to capture our client’s ESG data. Our global market-leading clients include Aviva Investors, BNP Paribas RE, and Federated Hermes. In 2020 we supported net- zero strategies across over £20bn of real estate, and we are also the winners of this year’s CIBSE Building Performance Consultancy of the Year.
